Every aspiring singer must have received this comment from friends or family members. Filmy TV has Come out with musical Reality show "Bathroom Singer" to join the bandwagon. The show is for untrained singers who call themselves "Bathroom Singers".

Filmy tv has signed Gaurav Gera ( Nandu of Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi ) as a host for this musical reality show. Ravikishan ( Top Bhojpuri Actor , One of the participants of Bigboss ) & Shibani Kashap ( Singer - Composer) will judge the singers on the show.

The good thing about the show is its Original Concept. I always thought that there should be some show for untrained singers. Many time in shows like Saregama or Indian a untrained but good singer looses because he or she does not taken any training in classical or western music.

Kishore Kumar , the legend was not a trained singer. KK (tadap tadap fame) is not a trained singer. I really liked the concept. It will be interesting to see that if Filmy Tv gets success with this show. All the best to every one who is going for audition.

Remember this song ? The song which shows Indian culture , Unity in Diversity. Created by Lok Seva Sanchar Parishad promoted by Doordarshan (then India's sole TV broadcaster) and India's Ministry of Information. Doordarshan used to telecast this video song in Mid-nineties when I was child. This song is made of hindi & other Indian regional languages. May we can not understand the meaning of half of the lyrics. But the Moral is same.

Mile Sur Mera Tumhara means "if you and I sing the same tune, then the tune becomes ours ". I wish DoorDashan should telecast this song regularly.

Shahrukh khan's Kaun banega Crorepati Tritya

The Wait is over. Bollywood's King Shahrukh khan is all set for his second inning on Indian Television with Launch of Kaun Banega Crorepati - 3 on Starplus.

Quick Facts about Shahrukh's KBC 3.

- Prasenjit Sarkar is the first contestant of the new season of KBC which is hosted by Shah Rukh Khan. He was the last contestant on KBC 2 which was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. When Starplus planned to start KBC-3, they called him back again to continue his game.

- There will the use of red, amber and blue as against Bachchan's monochromatic blue.

"Bachchan is like a sky for us that's why the colour was blue but main is desh ka lal hoon. (I am this country's darling) so the colour is red," explains Shah Rukh.

-Instead of saying " I want to Quit " , contestants will have to say " Shahrukh , I want to hug you."

- Amitabh Bachhan adressed Computer by addressing it as Computerji. Shahrukh Khan will adress by " Mr. Computer"

- In Kaunbanega Crorepati - 3 , Shahrukh khan will use " Freez Kiya Jaye " instead of Lock Kiya Jaye".

- Big-b used to say "Are you sure ? 100 % confirm ?".
We will hear Shahrukh saying " Kachha Kachha Pakka Pakka "

- Shahrukh Khan will adress the KBC audience with " Mein hu Aapka Dost , More than Host "

- Instead of of saying "Sahi Javab" , SRK will give Highfive to the Contestant.

Famex - The Reality Show on SABtv

Fame Gurukul is back as FameX with new Judges , new hosts , new avatar & will be telecasted on SAB TV. Auditions for FameX has Started. Yesterday I gave audition at Karnavati Club in Ahmedabad. After standing for 4 hours in the queue, Finally got entry into hall at 4 o'clock in the evening. First they registered my name in their database.Then we were distrubuted in the group of 10. Each Participant was given Unique Id no. with Two Forms.

The Form had various questions like

(1) Why should we pick you ?
(2) What type of Singer You are ?
(a) Bathroom Singer (b) Society-college competition (c) Trained Singer
(3) What is your X - factor ?
(4) Describe Yourself in 10 words.
(5) Have u stayed in hostel ?
(6) Who are Your favourite Singers ?
(7) Do u play any musical instrument ?
(8) Hobbies.


There were 2 rounds.

In 1st round You have to perform in 60 seconds. You can do anything while singing . You can act , You can dance. If you know playing guitar or any other musical instrument then its great for you. If that selector likes your performance in 1st round then only you will be moved to 2nd round.

In 2nd round,audition was done by Palash Sen.Some people were saying that ILA ARUN & Kazi Tauqir were also there as judges in 2nd round. I was not selected. But it was good experience.
